Product Updates - July 23, 2026

Activity goals arrive on Pro — weekly and monthly targets per activity with live progress — and AI weekly reviews are now saved in the app under Reports.

Features

Two updates this time, and they share a theme: tracking your time tells you where it went, but it doesn’t help you steer it. These do.

🎯 Activity goals

Ever finished a week thinking “I know exactly where the time went — it just didn’t go where I wanted”? That’s the gap goals close.

You can now set a goal on any activity. There are two kinds, because not all time is time you want more of:

  • At least — for the things you’re trying to protect. At least five hours of writing a week.
  • At most — for the things that quietly expand. At most ten hours of admin a month.

Goals run weekly or monthly, and the dashboard keeps score as you track: on track, behind, met — or for budgets, under budget, near the limit, over budget. The progress updates live while the timer runs.

I deliberately kept this quiet. No push notifications, no guilt streaks — just an honest scoreboard next to your numbers. You already decided what the week should look like; InstaClock’s job is to show you whether it does.

Goals also feed into your weekly review: every Monday, the AI recap tells you which targets you hit, which budgets you blew, and by how much.

Activity goals are part of the Pro plan, alongside AI weekly reviews.

🗂️ Weekly reviews, now filed under Reports

Until now, your AI weekly review lived only in your inbox. Fine for reading it once — less fine when you want to know how March went.

Every review is now saved in the app under Reports: total hours, activity comparisons against the week before, goal outcomes, wins, and the AI’s notes on where the time went. The email still arrives every Monday — but now it’s the notification, not the only copy.

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to go Pro, this is the one I’d point to. Open your ledger and set your first goal — start with one activity you want to protect. Stay tuned!
